July/August Oil Painting: From Start to Finish (six classes)
Students will learn a variety of information while learning how to paint, such as (composition, color, perspective, and proportion). The class designed for beginners, but instructor is able to work with the students needs individually depending on their skill. In the class students will paint (Still Life) the subject will be vary each class, for example the still life might be complete harmony or just in on color that will improve the students ability to see the tone deference in that color. On the very first class, the instructor will demonstrate how start the first step through to the finishing touches, so students can have the key to starting and completing a painting. Students are advised to come to class 10 minutes earlier for set up. Wednesday, July 17, 24, 31, August 7, 14, and 21 from 1:00-3:30pm Instructor: Dhamin Jassim, (https://www.dhaminart.com/) Ages: 16 and older. Materials: Flat brushes size (4, 6, 8, 10) brand Firenze Artist Loft or something similar . Canvas level 2 size 16x20 or bigger if you prefer. Safflower oil for mixing color and Gamsol for cleaning your brushes.
