Camp Junior Pastry Chef Kids Cooking Camp - Fresh Summer Fruit Tart
The Patissier Summer Camp is a camp for young budding pastry chefs to become familiar with the pastry arts...and love it! Camp Junior Pastry Chef is for kids ages 11-12 years old. Classes will be held in the professional kitchens at Tastemakers DC in the Brookland neighborhood of Washington, DC. Fresh Summer Fruit Tart - JPC campers will learn to apply several techniques from making buttery Pâte Brisée from scratch, beautiful fillings, to glazing and assembling a fresh fruit tart! Ticket price includes a $15 registration fee. All camps begin promptly at 10:30am. Students are supplied with aprons, lecture materials and recipes for everything we make in class. ALLERGY ALLERT: The Patissier Summer Camp Program at Tastemakers DC is NOT an allergy safe environment. We urge parents and/or guardians to be mindful of their child's allergies at the time of booking, as every child will be touching every ingredient during the camp session. NOTE FOR PARENTS: We reserve the right to remove any disruptive or potentially dangerous child from the camp. In the event your child must be removed from the camp we will contact the designated caregiver who will be responsible for picking the child up immediately. CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the first day of your child's camp. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. No refunds, credits or camp rescheduling will be allowed for cancellations made after this time. Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the camp will be refunded minus the $15 registration fee. Buyer forfeits Eventbrite fees if a refund is requested.
